Who would have thought that a package of Crayola Crayons and a coloring book would have led me down this career path? As a child my happiest memories are of the coloring contests I had with my sisters and my friends. Of course, I always won! Even then, the drive to be the best artist I possibly could be was strong.
Raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I dedicated almost all my time refining my artistic skills, and watching as much hockey as I could! When I graduated high school, I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I earned an Associate of Specialized Technology degree in Fashion Illustration and Design. From there I went into the graphic design field where I won 4 awards for Excellence of Design in the Printed Media from the Western Pennsylvania Printer's Association.
At about this time I also started custom painting ice hockey goalie masks. Working for myself for over 12 years, I've painted over 200 masks. Dedicating myself to the craft, I established an excellent reputation with my clients. My masks are sought after by many goalies across the United States including Connecticut, Massachusetts, California and of course, Pennsylvania.
In October of 2001, I also earned an Associate of Science degree in Digital Graphic Arts. I have become proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, QuarkXPress, CorelDRAW and web page design.
